We maintain the drains of more than 5,000 clients (property management companies, public authorities, businesses and private customers), mainly in Geneva, with a 24/7 emergency service. Your role
You will head the lifting stations and pumps department and take on part of the management of the company's other services (emptying, drain cleaning, breakdown repairs). As its technical and sales manager, you will have business development and profitability targets, and you will lead the field teams attached to the department. You will report to the operations director.
Your duties
- Develop: prospect for new business, prepare quotes and close deals, build client loyalty and grow your client portfolio.
- Manage: organise and coordinate the field teams, plan jobs and monitor their profitability through to invoicing.
- Guarantee: act as the technical point of reference for pumping installations (diagnosis, control panels, sizing) and ensure they comply with standards.
Your profile
Essential
- CFC (Swiss Federal VET Diploma) in electrical installation, electrical engineering, automation or a water-related trade, or equivalent training
- At least 5 years' experience in pumping and/or drainage, including proven experience leading field teams
- Natural leadership and the ability to manage teams
- Electrical skills (control cabinets, switch boxes, protective devices)
- Commercial flair and an excellent command of written and spoken French
- Category B driving licence
A plus
- Knowledge of Odoo and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of the EN 12050 standard and of wastewater and stormwater networks (EU/EC)
- Good knowledge of the Geneva area
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
